Source text - English The one square mile of campus occupies an idyllic, green valley, which it shares with farming communities. This has been the 83-year-old college’s home since 1955. Not the place for a technological revolution you might think, but this is one of the first business schools in Europe to have implemented a wireless LAN solution.
Customer confidence should never be underestimated. And although Linux is gaining acceptance rapidly in the information technology marketplace it has also been dogged by fears that it cannot deliver what it has promised.
Some are concerned that it is not secure, while others feel that it cannot maintain the levels of high availability needed to run mission-critical environments. Such rumours have led to many sitting on the sidelines and taking a ‘wait and see’ approach to Linux.
