Source text - English Built of stone in Early English style, the existing building dates from the 12th to the 14th century. The Tower was added in the 15th. century. The South porch is dated 1696 and the last adjunct is the vestry, built in 1881 at a cost of a mere £75. The earliest mention of the church comes in the reign of Steven 1135-1154 when St. Denys was given to Daventry Priory by Hugh Poer. The register of incumbents dates back to 1258, earlier names may occur in the registry of Daventry Priory. The greatest claim to fame can be heard but not seen because it hangs in the tower. It is the oldest dated bell in the country which is still rung in the English way - full circle to changes. The bell is reputed to have originally come from Sulby Abbey and is inscribed: MARIA VOCOR ANO DNI MCCCXNII (I am dedicated to Mary AD 1317). The tower contains a further five bells, two of which were locally cast by Newcombe of Leicester and are dated 1606. One was added in 1883 and the latest two in 2002.
Outside, on the South wall you can spot a scratched dial between the two windows which could well date back to the 13th century. The sundial on the same wall is dated 1703. The churchyard has been closed for new burials since 1878. The Lych Gate, the portal of the dead, was erected by the Reverend Gregory Bateman in 1883. It is moulded and supported by columns and carved capitals inscribed "Death is the Gate of Life".
Translation - Portuguese A atual igreja data dos séculos XII a XIV e foi construída em pedra no estilo inglês arcaico. A torre foi acrescentada no século XV. O pórtico sul data de 1696 e a sacristia foi adicionada por último, em 1881, pelo insignificante valor de £75,00. O primeiro registro mencionando a igreja data do reinado de Steven de Blois, rei da Inglaterra de 1135 a 1154, quando St. Denys, um distrito de Southampton na Inglaterra, foi doado por Hugh Poer ao Monastério de Daventry. O registro dos titulares é datado de 1258 e nomes anteriores a essa data podem estar registrados no Monastério de Daventry. A igreja é famosa por uma relíquia que as pessoas podem ouvir, mas não ver - o sino mais antigo do país, que fica escondido na torre e é até hoje tocado no estilo inglês de giro completo. Acredita-se que o sino veio originalmente do Mosteiro de Sulby e apresenta a inscrição: MARIA VOCOR ANO DNI MCCCXNII (Sou devoto de Mary - 1317 DC). A torre contém ainda outros cinco sinos, dois dos quais foram fundidos por Newcombe da cidade de Leicester, com data de 1606. Outro sino foi acrescentado à torre em 1883 e os últimos dois em 2002.
Do lado de fora, pode-se avistar um disco esculpido entre duas das janelas e acredita-se que pode datar do século XIII. O relógio de sol nesta mesma parede data de 1703. O cemitério se encontra fechado desde 1878 quando parou de aceitar funerais. O portão Lych, conhecido como Portal dos Finados, foi erguido pelo Reverendo Gregory Bateman em 1883. Ele é de ferro moldado e está apoiado em colunas. A incrição “A Morte É O Portão Da Vida” está gravada em maiúsculas.

I daresay the Captain of the ship will be pleased to see you unharmed. He can set sail, safely and with my permission, back to Castle Green, but you must return with something that is to be delivered to the Count, and the Count only.” He reached to an inside pocket and produced a handkerchief with his initials boldly embroidered in the corner.
“Hand this to your Count. If anyone questions your motives, or interferes en route, you need only show this handkerchief for safe passage.” He fingered a coin. “This will suffice for your expenses,” he continued, handing Rose a silver doubloon.
She took the handkerchief and passed it to Christina, then slapped the coin from his outstretched hand, sending it flying into the shrubbery. “We don’t want your blood money!” she said, her brown eyes blazing.
His eyes narrowing, he sighed, then grabbed Rose by her bodice string, which, unbeknownst to Rose, was still untied and loose. The lace tightened as he pulled her toward him like a dog on a leash. She winced in surprise and embarrassment.
He leaned close to her, breathing softly in her ear, making her almost lose her balance and certainly some sense, He paused just long enough to catch her off-guard in anticipation, then said, “You might want to keep the girls tied up,” and tightening her laces, he made a knot.
Her face flushed and she spat at him. He grabbed her by her brown hair and planted a kiss on her lips, long and sensual. When he released his grip, she was reeling, wild-eyed as a rabid dog.
“Take them away!” he ordered with a wave of his hand. The buccaneer escorts grabbed the women’s wrists and pulled them toward the path. Rose turned her head and caught the Captain’s eye.
“I think you are despicable!” she yelled at the top of her lungs. George smiled as he heard his crew laughing from afar. This was the most beautiful, brave woman he had ever known. If circumstances were different, he would have asked her to join him. But he hadn’t even found out her name…
Translation - Portuguese - Estes homens vão levá-las de volta para o porto de onde vieram. O Dragón está atracado lá e vocês podem ficam na pensão do centro da cidade até amanhã quando ele parte. Eu me atrevo a dizer que o Capitão do navio vai ficar muito satisfeito ao vê-las ilesas. Ele tem minha permissão e pode voltar tranquilo para Castle Green, mas vocês devem levar algo para o Conde, que deve ser entregue a ele e a mais ninguém. – Ele enfiou a mão no bolso e tirou um lenço branco com suas iniciais nitidamente bordadas no canto.
- Entreguem isso para o seu Conde. Se alguém questionar qualquer coisa, ou interferir no seu trajeto de volta, vocês só precisam mostrar esse lenço para garantir passagem segura. – Ele entregou também uma moeda.
- Isso será suficiente para suas despesas – continuou, entregando a Rose um doblón, a moeda espanhola de prata.
Ela pegou o lenço e o entregou para Christina, e num gesto rápido pegou a moeda da mão estendida e jogou-a nos arbustos.
- Não queremos seu dinheiro sujo! – disse, seus olhos castanhos brilhando.
Ele estreitou os olhos, suspirou, e então puxou Rose pelos cordões soltos do corpete, que Rose ainda não havia notado que estavam soltos. As tiras se ajustaram ao puxá-la para si, como um cãozinho na coleira. Ela se encolheu de surpresa e vergonha.

Source text - Portuguese Com a exploração efetivada, e consequente abertura do dossel, haverá no aparecimento da regeneração natural da área, ocasionando assim um efetivo enriquecimento natural da floresta, assim como também promoverá o incremento em volume do estoque remanescente, na qual está representado na Tabela 02.
Recomenda-se então ao 5 anos após a exploração a realização de um inventário diagnóstico visando quantificar e qualificar a regeneração natural existente, para tomada de decisões e avaliação das árvores matrizes (Tabela 03).
Serão avaliados todos os danos verificados na exploração. A partir do mapa de arraste, serão avaliados em escritório o nº de trilhas, a extensão das trilhas, o número de árvores arrastadas por trilha, e, desta classificação será feito um mapa para avaliar em campo no mínimo 10% das trilhas, medidas 10% das clareiras, compactação do solo por tipo de trilha, descrição dos equipamentos utilizados na atividade de exploração, árvores danificadas com a derruba, árvores danificadas com o arraste, e demais avaliações constantes da matriz. Da PP será feita uma medição em separado.
A questão ambiental, por sua relevância nos diferentes campos de ação humana, tem sido por parte objeto de preocupação. Particularmente na Amazônia, a devastação que inicia, vem despertando interesse crescente pelos efeitos danosos que se nao forem prevenidos a tempo, terão consequências irremediáveis.
O levantamento pré-exploratório indicou que 38 espécies estão sujeitas a exploração, todas estão representadas na maioria das unidades de amostra. Entretanto somente 7 espécies entre elas a Assacú, Cajuí, Lacre, Maçaranduba, Orelha de burro, Samaúma e Taruma, que estão presentes nos dois níveis da abordagem por espécies (Tabela 04).
Translation - English After the exploration is finished, the opening of the uppermost branch layers of the forest will promote a natural regeneration of the area, and as a consequence, a natural enrichment will occur, boosting a volume increase of the remaining stock, as per list on Table 02.
It is recommended that an inventory be carried out 5 years after the exploration, to assess the quality and quantity of the natural regeneration process and the matrix trees (Table 03).
Damage observed during exploration will also be assessed. From the trailing map, the number of paths, their length and the number of trees dragged by path will be evaluated in an office. From that, a map will be drawn specifying at least 10% of the paths, with 10% of the clearings measured, as well as the compactness of the paths, the description of the equipment used during the exploration, tree damage caused by the felling and the trailing and any other relevant assessments. A separate measurement will be done for the permanent plots (PP).
The importance of the environment in the different areas of human life has been a particular source of concern. The deforestation of the Amazon has raised increasing concern and the consequences will be irreparable if the damage is not prevented in time.
The pre-exploratory survey showed that the 38 species subject to exploration are represented on almost all of the Sample Units (SU). Nevertheless, only seven species (Assacú, Cajuí, Lacre, Maçaramduba, Orelha de Burro, Sumaúma e Taruma) are shown on both levels of the survey (Table 04).

Source text - English Allen: I want to ask you something: I have this fantasy about working not necessarily with a husband but with somebody who I’m very close to, regardless of the kind of relationship, and that it’s just fabulous because you’re so relaxed with that person because he or she knows you so well.
McDormand: But you’ve done that in theatre…
Allen: Yeah, but with theatre I was much more relaxed. I mean, when I first started doing film, it felt so alien to me, it really took me five or six years before I wasn’t just trying to hide my mark and say the words. I didn’t do a film until I was 29, which is kind of long in the tooth to come into film.
McDormand: When I started doing film, I was terrified of being too theatrical. So I was always just standing around trying not to move my face.
Allen: (laughs) I actually love working in film now. I’m so proud that I sort of got the gist of it after so many years of trying to figure it out. But I was thinking about you working with Joel, and relationships like De Niro and Scorsese, people with long-standing friendships-slash-working relationships. Does that translate into more of a sense of experimentation?
McDormand: I have to say that one of the best things about working with Joel and his brother is that I don’t get involved in any step of the process until I go to work. Well, I mean, I do, obviously, because I wash Joel’s laundry. I’m involved in the support system, but when it comes to sitting down with scripts and stuff, we don’t do that.
Translation - Portuguese Allen: Eu queria te perguntar uma coisa: eu tenho a fantasia de trabalhar não necessariamente com meu marido, mas com alguém de quem eu seja bem próxima, independente do tipo de relacionamento, e que isso seria fantástico porque você pode se sentir à vontade com a pessoa, já que ela te conhece tão bem.
McDormant: Mas você já fez isso no teatro…
Allen: Sim, mas no teatro eu era muito mais tranquila. Quero dizer, quando eu iniciei no cinema, estranhei muito, levei uns cinco ou seis anos para parar de tentar esconder a marcação e repetir minha fala. Eu não fiz nenhum filme antes dos meus 29 anos, então eu já era considerada velha para iniciar em cinema.
McDormant: Quando eu comecei a fazer cinema, eu morria de medo de parecer muito teatral. Então eu ficava sempre meio parada, tentando não fazer muitas expressões faciais.
Allen: (rindo) Na verdade, eu agora adoro trabalhar em cinema. Eu estou tão orgulhosa de ter conseguido pegar a essência da coisa, depois de tantos anos tentando entender. Mas eu estava pensando em você que trabalha com o Joel, e em relacionamentos como o de De Niro com o Scorsese, pessoas com relacionamentos duradouros de amizade-trabalho. Será que isso significa um aspecto mais experimental?
McDormand: Eu tenho que dizer que um dos melhores aspectos de trabalhar com Joel e o irmão dele é que eu não me envolvo em nenhuma fase do processo até eu ir para o trabalho. Bem, quero dizer, é claro que me envolvo, pois eu lavo a roupa dele. Eu me envolvo com o sistema de apoio, mas no que se refere a estudar roteiros e essas coisas, isso a gente não faz.
