Technology and translations have been my business for almost forty years. Fifteen years of research experience have been followed by 28 years of technical and legal translations. Long ago, I was certified G-E by the American Translators Association.
My strongest areas are those related directly to my academic and research background in physics, chemistry, electronics, communications and computers. However, the bulk of my work has involved a great variety of technical specialties, for example agriculture, medicine, pharmacology, and plastics. I am also very familiar with contracts and patents, and have translated hundreds of them.
Translations for publication include "Railroad Track", an engineering book published by Ungar Publishing Co., "Metering Pumps", an engineering manual of principles, designs and applications published by Verlag Moderne Industrie, also "Sourcebook of Physics", a compendium of historic quantum mechanics papers published by Cambridge University Press, and "Stents", a medical review of the subject.
To aid me in these projects I have acquired a library of specialty dictionaries comprising 500 volumes and still growing.
I am a seasoned professional who seeks long-term business.
