CV/Resume English (DOC)
I am on the National Register of Public Service Interpreters in U.K (Registration No 16239). For the last 4 years, I have mainly worked as an interpreter in England, working for the police, court, law firms, Home Office, Ofsted, Office of Fair Trading, Health and Safety Executive, local authorities and NHS. My total interpretation time is over 500 hours in public services. I am also a member of Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL 025401). I live in London and have worked in many cities in the country. I travelled to Belfast for a court hearing, Bath for regular assignments and York for statement taking.

I am professional, honest and hard working. I have received lots of positive feedback from clients. Some examples:

- "It was such a pleasure to work with Tomoko. I will definitely recommend her to other inspectors." - Ofsted inspector

- "Very professional and reliable. I would like to book her again." - Speech therapist

- "Before Tomoko came in this morning, we had another interpreter who could not continue interpreting in a high pressure situation. But Tomoko was very good and was not intimidated. Thank you for coming in such a short notice." - Investigator at OFT

- "I have seen many interpreters before but she is the first one who interpreted everything I said!" - NHS patient

Between 2005 and 2010, translation was my main domain. With my medical background and experiences, I have translated and proofread various medical documents including clinical protocols. Please send me a message. I am looking forward to working with you.
