While my specialization is in languages and international relations (see below), I also have extensive background in journalism/communications, marketing and the travel and tourism industry. My other interests include everything from the Volkssporting Hiking Club and linguistics to music and traveling.
I hold a dual Bachelor's degree in International Relations and French from The Ohio State University. Through this university, I also attended the Sorbonne in Paris, France, where I took extensive coursework in French. Not only have I done translating and sales for a French hotel chain (details on request), but I also had an internship at Euroscript in Luxembourg City that also included translating. I have won numerous awards in freelance writing. Because my mother is from Luxembourg originally, I have spent a significant amount of time living abroad and communicating in French on a daily basis and feel that through this I have a great grasp on the European mentality.
