Have a great day, I'm Alejandro Schwartz, a freelance English-Spanish-English translator, with experience as a full-time translator since 2004, and in combination with other jobs since 1994, in the following areas: software localization, videogames localization, computer science, electronics, scripts for voiceover, subtitles files, marketing, medical, pharmaceutical, patents, chemistry, legal and fine arts (dance and music).

I'm familiar with several CAT tools (MemoQ, Trados, Across, Phrase (formerly Memsource), Matecat, Crowdin, OmegaT, Microsoft leaf, among others), so I'm able to adapt quickly to any application or work platform required.

I've worked as a media planner at Starcom and MediaVest media agencies, and as Sr. New Projects Advisor at IBOPE AGB (Now IBOPE Nielsen), an audimetry company where my activities included TV Ratings database quality assurance, software development lead, audimetry and media analysis, and training an support for their ratings exploitation software.

Personally, I'm a martial arts practitioner and teacher (karate and kobudo), and a videogames, anime, dance, theater and music enthusiast.
