Source text - English Protein and Dairy
Protein and dairy foods are extremely important for growing kids. Proteins are the building blocks for bones, muscles, skin, and blood. Many foods contain protein, but the best sources are beef, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products, nuts, seeds, and legumes like black beans and lentils. Eating dairy foods is also important, especially in kids and teens. The main reason is that milk contains calcium, an important ingredient in building strong bones and preventing osteoporosis. You want bones that are dense, which means they're strong all the way through life.
Finding The Protein
Look for the Label
You can look at a food label to find out how many protein grams are in a serving. But if you're eating a balanced diet, you don't need to keep track of it. It's pretty easy to get enough protein.

Bachelor's degree - Translator degree from UMSA University, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Experience
Years of experience: 26. Registered at ProZ.com: Feb 2009.
I am an English–Spanish translator, reviewer and conference interpreter with over 14 years of professional experience, specializing in life sciences and healthcare, international organizations, public policy, legal and institutional affairs, labor rights, finance and compliance, and technical content.
As a translator and reviewer, I have extensive experience in Life Sciences and Healthcare, including clinical research and clinical trial documentation, particularly in oncology and investigational drugs; antimicrobial resistance (AMR); and patient-facing healthcare materials. For many years, I translated documentation for Medicare and Medicaid patients, including healthcare coverage information, patient communications, and rules and regulations, as well as preparation and aftercare instructions for medical procedures such as cardiac catheterization and minor surgery. I have also worked extensively as a reviewer of clinical research and clinical trial translations.
My translation background also includes reports and policy documents for international organizations and NGOs, particularly in the areas of labor rights, social protection, migration, gender equality, ESG and the informal economy, as well as legal and institutional documentation, financial compliance, cultural heritage, and technical materials.
Alongside my translation career, I work as a professional conference interpreter in simultaneous and consecutive modes, which has given me extensive subject-matter exposure across highly specialized fields. My interpreting assignments include international organizations, government institutions, NGOs and corporate clients. In the healthcare and life sciences field, I have interpreted presentations on different phases of clinical research and drug development, as well as institutional exchanges involving Argentina’s Ministry of Health, U.S. government officials and ANLIS–Malbrán, Argentina’s national public-health research and reference institute.
I have been working professionally as a translator since 2012 and hold university degrees in Translation and Interpretation, as well as advanced training in simultaneous conference interpreting.
