Bio
After graduation from St.Petersburg State University I started my translation career in the scientific information service of one of research institutions and since then used to translate for several similar institutions, including the Chamber of Commerce. More than ten years I worked for the Ministry of Statistics and Analysis in the International Cooperation Department, where obtained experience of translating documents in various statistical, economic, and sociologic domains. Besides, I happened to work as a translator/interpreter for some international projects. As a freelancer, I had a chance to translate for such agencies as Eurostat (TACIS Projects), Minnesota University (IPUMS-International Project), UNDP, IMF, etc. I’ll be glad to be of use to everybody looking for translation services in the fields mentioned.
International Projects I participated in as translator/coordinator:
- UNDP Project for Preparation of the International Conference on the 20th Anniversary of the Chernobyl Catastrophe
- IPUMS- International Project
- IPUMS-Europe Project, Phase II
- TACIS Statistics 8 Project on the Reform of the Official Statistics in Ukraine
- TACIS Statistics 9 Project on Global Assessment of the Statistical System of Belarus
- TACIS Statistics 10 Project on the Reform of the Official Statistics in Uzbekistan
- ENP-EAST Training Programme (User-friendly dissemination of statistics; National Accounts; Structural Business Statistics,Sampling Techniques; Quality management and survey quality measurement; Business statistics in the EU and EECCA countries; Statistical Metadata; Introduction to Big Data and its tools; Using New Technology for Collection of Statistical Data)
- (ENPI-EAST) Eastern Partnership’s Panel of Statistics (Labour Market Statistics) under Platform 2: “Economic Integration and Convergence with EU Policies”; Approaches to skills anticipation and matching – experiences in the EU and Eastern Partnership region:
