A. Lectures and Programmes
Conducted programs on Radio channels and seminars on various topics such as family law, Islamic finance, and Islamic medical ethics.
Participated and delivered paper in the 6th International Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance, Hillton Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia. 21-24 November 2005. Also at the First Conference on Islamic Finance in Brunei. 17-19 April 2007 at Empire Hotel.
Participated in many other international conferences on Islamic finance in South Africa, Dubai Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia and United Kingdom.
Courses developer for many courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels in Islamic Law and Islamic Finance and training programmes.
C. Organisation Established
AMLSA- Association of Muslim Lawyers of South Africa. The main objectives of this organisation are to liaise with the South African government on any new proposed bill and to contribute towards any proposed legislation.
D. Islamic Finance Involvement
• Was team leader for developing takaful (Islamic insurance) products for Al-Noor Risk Solutions South Africa Pty Ltd.
• Member of the Shari’ah Supervisory Board of Hannover-re Retakaful (Bahrain)
• Has authored few academic articles on Islamic finance. Recently published a book, “Risk Management: A Takaful Perspective”. Books under progress: 1. Regulation of Islamic Financial Institutions and 2. Takaful and Retakaful: A Legal Practitioners Guide.
• Publication under progress: 1. Regulation for Islamic Financial institution and 2. Takaful and Retakaful: A Guide for Legal Practitioners
• Is a member of the Shari’ah Board for Stanlib Shari’ah Fund (A Subsidiary of Standard Bank Johannesburg. South Africa)

2/اعداد وتقديم ورقة قدمت في المؤتمر العالمي السادس بعنوان : الاقتصاد و التمويل في الاسلام (فندق هيلتون جاكارتا أندونيسيا
في الفترة من12 الي 24 من شهر 9-2005م.).
3/ شارك بورقة بعنوان التمويل المالي الاسلامي في المؤتمر الاول الذي اقيم بدولة بروناي (فندق الامبراطور في الفترة من 17الي 19 من شهر 4 2007م).
4/ و قد شارك في العديد من المؤتمرات حو التمويل الاسلامي بكل من جنوب افريقيا – دبي – بروناي – سنقافورا- ماليزيا – برطانيا.
المنظمات و الهيئات التي اسسها و شارك فيها:
1/ اتحاد المحامين المسلمين ((AMLSA)) بجنوب افريقيا ,حيث كانت الاهداف الريئسية لهذه المظمة ((AMLSA )) هي التعاون مع حكومة جنوب افريقيابالمساهمة و المشاركة في القوانين بما يكفل للمسلمين حقوقهم.
2/ كان يترأس مجموعة تهتم بتنمية و تطوير التكافل و التأمين الاسلامي ,ممثلة في شركة النور لدرء الكوارث المحدودة بجنوب افريقيا
3/عضو الهيئة الاستشارية الاسلامية لاحياء التكافل –هانوفر فرع البحرين .
4/ عضو شورى الهيئة الشرعية لصندوق دعم الشريعة ((stanlib )) بالبنك المركزي –جنوب افريقيا.
5/ كتب عدد من المقالات في التمويل الاسلامي , وحديثا أصدر كتابا بعنوان ادارة الكوارث من منظور التكافل الاسلامي .
