Bio

I am a 17-year experience French Translator, working with English and Spanish as source languages. I graduated with a Master's degree in Translation (French/Spanish/English), in 2006.


I work as a freelance Translator since 2011 and I specialize in the fields of marketing, Human Resources, tourism, communication and localization.

In addition, I specialize in the translation/adaptation for subtitling (full-length films, short films, TV shows, documentaries, reality shows and stand-up comedy shows). I have also gained a good experience in the translation/adaptation for dubbing (series and documentaries).


Besides, I have acquired a strong knowledge of the software programs Microsoft Office; Trados Studio (CAT tool); as well as Ooona and Sfera (for subtitling).

I have also experience with the software programs XTM Cloud, Transifex and Phrase (CAT tools); Monal, GTS, Originator, EZTitles and GTS Pro (subtitling software); Cappella and TranStation (dubbing software).


Finally, I have developed good terminology research skills through the different assignments I have been involved in, and always work with dynamism and meticulousness.
