Despite being in the industry for 15 years, I am new to Proz because my plate was brimming, working full-time for my clients. But in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, I found myself with extra time to work and I thought that being a member of was a good recourse.

I am a professional teacher with a major in English, and I have worked as a Lead Linguist for a few companies throughout the course of my career.

I have extensive experience in translation, and if we were to label metrics as "wordsmith" for someone who has translated more than 8 million words, then I would fit the bill.

Aside from translating, I create/have created language courses for an American and Japanese company. I also have experience working as a language quality rater for a prestigious organization in the U.S.

My greatest advantage as a bidirectional translator of English <><> Tagalog is that I am a native speaker of both.
