Born and raised in Germany I first went to England for 1 year , where I passed my final-secondary school examinations , then went back to Germany to get my diploma from German secondary school as well .
In 1985 I expatriated to Italy , where I worked in real estate business the first couple of years and then started my career as a freelance translator and interpreter, working on translation of brochures, manuals (electrical appliances, computer applications), annual reports, legal documents and thousands of real estate related documents , as well as entire websites ( various topics ) .
