Probably a cosmetic...

This is probably about a product of the cosmetic industry like a facial creme or a facial tanner. The literal translation of Facial King (or FacialKing as you wrote) into Dutch would be "gezichts koning". Doesn't make much sense to me. I would advise you not to translate it if it is a brand name. Try using: "Facial King tanning creme" or "- moisturizer" or whatever it is. Then you can translate the tanning or moisturizer bit. Everybody in the Netherlands will know what is meant.

I hope this helps. Next time give us a bit more context, will you?

Have a nice Sunday

agree Frank Hesse : sounds indeed like a brand name in which case I would not translate it. Please more context next time.

Should be used as "Facial King moisturizer" in Dutch "Facial King vochtigheidscreme, dagcreme" or whatever it is that we are talking about here.
agree Carla Zwanenberg : Klinkt voor mij eerder als een nickname op internet, de letterlijke vertaling is inderdaad gezichtskoning. Waarom iemand zich zo zou noemen is mij een raadsel...

Wat ze allemaal verzinnen... Gezichtskoning, mooie naam, hè? (*#%
disagree Toiny Van der Putte-Rademakers : Does not seem a serious question to me. Who on earth would think of calling a facial cream FacialKING? Unless it is a cream for men? But even then...

neutral ShirleyV : In this context, I agree with the translation. Only, facial sometimes also has a (forgive me the topic, but it's in the sake of completeness) pornographic meaning. It's called like that when a guy has an orgasm into somebody else's face.

Now that explains a lot. Topic closed. Thanks Shirley!!

gelaatskoning/koninglijke gelaat.

In dutch GEzicht means face, but the creams are applied to the "gelaat".

neutral Thijs van Dorssen : Check for errors please.

disagree Carla Zwanenberg : Nee, een crème wordt over het algemeen gewoon op het gezicht gesmeerd, gezichtscrème is een woord dat veel vaker wordt gebruikt dan gelaatscrème. En koninGklijkE gelaat? oeps! ;(
