Happy Birthday

Polish translation: wszystkiego najlepszego z okazji urodzin

English to Polish translations [Non-PRO]
English term or phrase: Happy Birthday
I would wish to tell my friend, Eric, Happy birthday in Polish
Karla
Polish translation:wszystkiego najlepszego z okazji urodzin
Explanation:
There is no exact phrase that translates directly as happy birthday. This is probably the closest, it's certainly what I use with my Polish friends although it is a little formal. If you want to try something a little simpler try milych urodzin.
By the way, the polish don't actually celebrate their birthdays to the extent that we do. It's their name day that is important.

Wszystkiego najlepszego w dniu urodzin!

Explanation:
This means "I wish you all the best on your birthday". We do not have a shorter phrase, though there are also other ways to wish someone a happy birthday. I think this one is the simplest one.
