German term

Markierungsbesteck (second go)

German to English Medical
I realize that this question was already answered in November, but I still can't figure out what the answer was?
In my context the word is mentioned in the reference line of a letter to a Swiss health authority with no other information provided:
"Betr. Scintinum Granulocyte, Markierungsbesteck"
Thanks in advance for bearing with me.

Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Jan 22, 2004:
Note Was the gist of the answers given in November that Markierungsbesteck should be translated simply as "marker"?

Marker kit

....as in a collection of bits and pieces, chemical reagents included, to be used to mark the presence of a particular substance. That was the gist of Mats Wiman's reply to Rowan Morell's question.

Don\'t ask me what \"Scintinum\" is though; I haven\'t a clue - and more to the point, nor has google...
