From a text talking about a comparative study of dental attachments. Here they're talking about the actual format of the experiment.

A little vocab assistance: "Keeper" is a kind of screw on the attachment.

Now, I am aware that there is an entry for this word already in the glossary (so there's no need to point it out to me, because I have checked it already). But I am not convinced that the meaning already in the glossary applies here. I have no idea what the word means in my context, but hope someone here will. TIA for your help.

Explanation:
starr = rigid
eigen = own
Konstruktion = construction
As it would probably be too long to say a rigid construction of our own design (but you can use it if you like ), I would use the glossary term which conveys the same meaning.
