ｂｃｌ－２導入ＣＯＳ－１細胞であってＦＥＲＭＰ－１５８０８として寄託された細胞。 I don't know how to translate this pattern into appropriate patent-filing English. I came up with "A cell which is deposited as FERM P-15808, said cell being a COS-1 cell which is transfected with bcl-2." Is that right?

The previous claim is "動物細胞が、ｂｃｌ－２導入ＣＯＳ－１細胞であってＦＥＲＭＰ－１５８０８として寄託された細胞である請求項１記載の方法。" and I translated it as "The method of Claim 1 whereby said animal cell is deposited as FERM P-15808, said animal cell being a COS-1 cell which is transfected with bcl-2. " I want to make the translations consistent for both claims.

動物細胞が、A 細胞であって、B細胞である　→　動物細胞はAであり、なおかつBである　→　動物細胞　＝　A（ｂｃｌ－２導入ＣＯＳ－１細胞）　=　B（ＦＥＲＭＰ－１５８０８として寄託された細胞）

I'm trying to figure out how to write for-filing patent English. This time I just imitated a format I've seen a lot for the pattern A であって...A。 The previous claim adds to my confusion because its subject apparently is 動物細胞 instead of 細胞。　If you know of any free on-line info about how to write these correctly, I would greatly appreciate you sharing it with me. You said I can find out more about the patent text example on Google. Where in Google did you mean? Thanks again, Eric
