Yes, but... Thanks again, but a teaching certificate is not the same as an academic degree, although they are frequently related. Would anyone agree with "Bachelor of Arts in Education [Philosophy]"?? or similar??? Better wording?? (The problem is that a mere teaching certificate will NOT suffice for the government's requirements.)

That's what it means, but... I need an academic degree title. This is for the government of Taiwan, and they're used to the US educational system. Can we get an acceptable wording that emphasizes the fact that it's an academic qualification and not merely a certificate or job title? Tks!

neutral Refugio : Why would it be BS instead of BA? Most teaching degrees that I know of in the US are BA, not BS. Unless you have a specific institution in mind. For example, USC calls theirs an AB.
