Teleproceso.- Es el procesamiento de datos usando las telecomunicaciones (transmisión de señales a grandes o pequeñas distancias ).- El teleproceso puede ejecutarse de dos maneras diferentes:

ON LINE .- Un servidor controla la transmisión y se procesa los datos inmediatamente después de haber sido recibidas.

Il termine "teleprocessing" e' presente nella traduzione italiana "teleprocesso" per designare la tecnica mediante la quale si effettua il collegamento per mezzo di linee telefoniche eograficamente distanti dal punto di lavoro. Piu' in generale, si chiama teleprocesso l'elaborazione dei dati da un sistema remoto
situato a distanza dal punto di raccoglimento dei dati stessi.
