Does .ttk files can be translated using Trados?

Hello everyone,

I have received files from a client, and a few of them have a .ttk extension. The client is aking me if those can be translated with Trados. I'm trying to open a new project with Trados, but it doesn't work, and I can't open it with Tag Editor. What kind of files are those anyway? I am using SDL Trados 2007 and Windows Vista (yes, I know!).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alchemy Catalyst Lite for translating TTK-files Dec 18, 2009

TTK-files are generated by Alchemy CATALYST. You can translate them with the Lite version, which is free.

You need Catalyst to open the file, but you can connect a TM to Catalyst so that you can leverage your translation.
