Ti si zemen rai A Dunav veselo shumi Tih bial Dunav SE valnuva Veselo

It's lyrics from Ladytron.
I thought it was Polish.

Discussion

Rafal Piotrowski Dec 15, 2004:
It's definitely not Polish. To me it looks like one of the Yugoslav languages, but I cannot specify which (Macedonian maybe?). Let other Colleagues speak. Unless it's Old Church Slavonic... ;-)

agree Rafal Piotrowski : you forgot to add the 2nd verse: "the quiet white Danube is waving joyfully", or something like that :-) What's the language, BTW, Yura?

You are... etc below

You are the earthly paradise / And the Danube murmurs gaily / Quiet white Danube / Its waves run gaily
This is not Polish, however, but - I believe - Bulgarian
