"The 6 Credit Events under ISDA Definitions are:

Bankruptcy
Obligation Acceleration
Obligation Default
Failure to Pay
Repudiation/Moratorium
Restructuring" - from ISDA, ref. 2

Broadly speaking, a credit event is a debtor saying he can´t or won´t pay, or just not paying. I think it is tranlsated with Kreditereignis (e.g. ref. 1)
