How does this sound? Llamar a la Plan médico/Obra Social para ver si la receta tiene cobertura. (to find out if the son is able to buy those medicines with the proper coverage)
trufflejus (asker) Jul 8, 2008:
Right, I agree with you, but what I am asking is how you would relate it to the "prescriptions". I hope I am not insisting too much, but I have not been able to think of a good way to connect the two concepts off the top of my head.
anelape Jul 7, 2008:
If you have a medical plan (cobertura médica) which uses different services that would be diferentes prestadores. I think it´s the way I see it.
trufflejus (asker) Jul 7, 2008:
For example, the Empire Plan in NY, which uses GHI for some benefits, Blue Cross for others, and so on.
trufflejus (asker) Jul 7, 2008:
Right, but this is like when you have a medical plan which uses different carriers for different benefits (e.g.: hospital stays, drug plans, chiropractic, etc.). So what are your thoughts on making it more specific?
trufflejus (asker) Jul 7, 2008:
I checked some of the prior inquiries pertaining to "carriers" in this context and wanted to see if there was something that was better suited. Thanks to all in advance!

Que tal: ...su "cubierta de farmacia" ?
o quizás: "plan farmaceutico" ?
