would this be more likely to be "providers" as "operators" comes up with no hits on google...? Or something else???

Your Spanish text has errors. Routers and modems are digital per se, but DSL refers to the telephone line itself, so it should be "routers para líneas digitales de abonado" and "modems inalámbricos para líneas digitales de abonado).

agree Daniel Parra : Si, "carriers" es operadores. Pero "dsl" = DSL (Digital Service Line) en inglés, y en España se conoce como ADSL (Asymmetric DSL) conservando las siglas en inglés.

agree Victor Chaves : Sí, "operadores" equivale a "carriers", pero DSL normalmente no se traduce. Hago notar que las conexiones DSL pueden ser asimétricas o simétricas.
