Professional translator, proofreader, and interpreter originally from Minneapolis, MN with ample experience studying Spanish and Portuguese in academic settings and through living abroad in Chile and Brazil. Through my work as an internal linguist and project manager at a small translation firm in Santiago to my current role as a strategic localization account manager at the world's largest privately-owned language service provider, my varied experience in the translation and localization industry has afforded me both a strong linguistic background and a wholistic understanding of translation as both an art and a trade in local and global contexts.
