I mostly work in the legal, financial, governmental, regulatory, business, corporate, HR and official document translation fields. I am also very used and eager to work in other domains.

Translations need to be accurate and finely tuned to fit the purpose within the concerned business sector and subject matter, for the relevant target reader.

I am a Catalan and Spanish native. I obtained the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English in 1991 and have been using English personally, academically, and professionally ever since, so I have a very near-native command of it.

20+ years of professional experience as an international counsel, lecturer, and translator —drafting, proofreading, and translating indistinctly in/to all three languages—, followed by 6+ years as a full-time translator.

I am usually available to translate 2.5k to 5k words —or proofread 5k to 10k words)— daily on weekdays. I can also arrange to be available longer hours and on weekends, if necessary, with reasonable notice.
