Bio

I translate and localize medical device content into German and Croatian: IFUs, labelling, device UI and packaging, aligned with MDR/IVDR, ISO 13485, EN ISO 20417 and EN ISO 15223-1.

Alongside the language work I run the systems behind it: TMS configuration, terminology governance, MQM and DQF quality measurement, and n8n automation connecting CMS, TMS and review.

I was born in Germany and moved to Croatia at 14, so German and Croatian have both been native to me since childhood. I studied German and English language and literature at the University of Zagreb and started translating professionally before completing the degree. 14+ years on, my working pairs are EN>DE, EN>HR and DE<>HR, plus into-English work from German, Croatian and Swiss German.

I hold the CIOL Diploma in Translation (DipTrans, Level 7) with the MCIL and CL designations from the Chartered Institute of Linguists. Beyond medical devices I work in automotive, IT, software and games, in memoQ, Trados Studio, Phrase, Across, XTM and 16 other CAT and TMS platforms.
