My translation approach is straightforward: I focus on understanding the document's purpose before deciding how to translate it. For instance, while both a consent form and a marketing brochure need to be easy to read, they should convey information quite differently. Rather than assume, I prefer to ask a clarifying question at the outset to ensure I capture the message's essence.

I'm also a certified professional on ProZ.com, and I use tools like Trados Studio and memoQ daily. I keep client glossaries and style guides organized and up to date, rather than trying to remember them from one project to the next. I take deadlines seriously.
