Bio

I’m a Chinese–English localization professional with a background in technical writing and hands-on experience across game localization, linguistic review, LQA, dialogue polishing, and cultural adaptation.

My work goes beyond translating words. In games, every line has a job to do—whether it is building a character, explaining a mechanic, guiding the player through a UI, or making a joke land naturally in another language. I focus on preserving that intent while making the final text feel as though it was written for the target audience from the start.

My areas of expertise include:

  • Game localization and LQA
  • Dialogue and narrative polishing
  • UI, system, quest, and gameplay text
  • Terminology and style-guide management
  • Cultural adaptation and transcreation
  • Technical and software documentation

I am equally comfortable working with highly structured technical content and more creative, voice-driven material. As someone with a strong interest in literature and creative writing, I particularly enjoy projects where rhythm, characterization, tone, humor, and cultural nuance matter just as much as accuracy.

For me, good game localization should never feel translated. It should feel native to the world, natural to the player, and faithful to the experience the original team intended to create.

If you are looking for a Chinese–English localization partner who understands both the language and the player experience, I would be glad to contribute to your project.
