I love creating clear, appealing and, above all, effective texts, whether I'm working as a creative, technical and medical translator, a text corrector, an editor or a copywriter. In my opinion a good text is much more than just a grammatically correct collection of words that transfers information: it's a business card and a means to an end. Most importantly, a good text is an opportunity for starting a genuine conversation. For me, a text is an invitation to get in touch.
Collaboration - the key to a good text
In order to create a high-quality translation or write a good text, I usually need to know a lot about its subject-matter. My customers often know much more about the particular field in question and the background to the text than I do. They possess knowledge that's not easy to find and can provide background information that is not available in the documents, and yet can be a valuable addition to the text. This is why I like to work together with my customers to create texts that really stand out. This enables me to deliver texts that really express what the customer wants to communicate and are an easy and pleasant read for the intended audience.
