Congratulations to members from the countries set to join the EU tomorrow!

Notice for those considering platinum membership and living in any of the ten accession countries: from tomorrow, ProZ.com will be obliged to charge VAT tax on membership fees. Taxes will range from 15 to 25%, depending on country of residence. (Until currencies change, fees will be charged in US dollars, rather than euros.)

There are two ways to upgrade without paying VAT. One way is to get a VAT number and provide it when upgrading. The other way is to upgrade today, before ProZ.com has to start charging VAT. Multiyear memberships are also available, and the yearly rates work out to less than the current sale rate of 99 usd (as compared to normal price of 120).
