Working as translator now requires ever increasing technical expertise in different tools and systems.



Many of us have specific skills which we would be more than willing to share with others and to offer help with when required - as can be seen in many of the forums.



However, forums are unfortunately not actively frequented by the majority of members (at least, judjing from the regular contributors...), so that a call for help might not reach some of th... See more

However, forums are unfortunately not actively frequented by the majority of members (at least, judjing from the regular contributors...), so that a call for help might not reach some of the people who could be able to offer help and advise.



It would be useful to add to members\' profiles a searchable section about expertise -- not in translation, but in specific sw tools, OS, troubleshooting...

Also, something parallel to Kudoz, but about tech questions, so that people\'s requests for help can be targeted to those of us who are able and willing to help.
