task delegation
Definicja: an individual that has taken on a task outside of their own priorities and isn’t something they should be doing.
I teraz opis sytuacji, w której zachodzi próba 'reverse delegation':
You have told your young assistant, whom you have trained, to take any telephone calls from suppliers that come to him. He comes to you and says that he would rather you dealt with such calls, at least for the time being. What do you do?
I możliwe sposoby postąpienia:
1. Agree to his request.
2. Reaffirm that I have given this task to him because it is one of his responsibilities, and so it is important that he does it.
3. He is a little unsure how to handle two types of call, so I instruct him in the procedures again.
4. Tell him that I was pretty sure he was not yet ready to take calls from suppliers, but I wanted to give him a chance.

Reverse delegation:
If you frequently tell team members, "Just leave it with me," that's a sign you don't trust them to do a good job.

PanPeter
: nie nazywałbym tego delegowaniem

Najpierw zwierzchnik deleguje pracownika do wykonania zadania, nastepnie sam zajmuje sie jego wykonaniem (ktos nazwal to 'efektem bumerangu'). Delegowanie to termin utarty i oczywisty - nie ja go wymyslilam :)
