in an 'acta de notoriedad de declaración de herederos abintestato', the notary identifies the witnesses. Those witnesses state:
Que de ciencia propia les constan los hechos positivos y negativos, enumerados en el ***requerimiento***, cuya declaración de notoriedad se pretende.
Is requerimiento here simply a 'request', I don't think summons is an appropriate translation here. I need to be sure. Many thanks if anyone can help.
