I didn't find what "my" stands for but I hope this helps: "my" in this case does not stand for metric yards.
A metric yard is 90 cm and it is an architectural way of measuring lenght.
That means that 18 meters would be 20 metric yards, not 26.1 ; moreover, 26.1 metric yards should be the same as 23.49 meters, not 18.

I agree with Flavio's answer. I checked Joshua Madison's converter (the free converter you can download from the page below) and none of the distance measures provided there convert 18 metres into 26.01 anything.
This converter is pretty complete. I hope someone else comes up with another idea to help you!
