I think receipt confiormation is a better term, because it includes the full functionality of what happens in a data communications network: the correct recezption is checked and the also confirmed to the sending party.

Either receipt confirmation or receipt verification will be clear (reception, however, would be wrong in this context). If you want to be even more specific, you could use "message receipt confirmation" or "transmission receipt confirmation" (or verification).
