This looks like a fanciful coining of a name for a horse - it's a gelding which is both fairy-like (light on its feet?)and godlike (better than all the others).

If this makes sense in the context of the chapter, I would suggest using something fairly simple, like the above.

for children or adults?

Dear Roser:
If it is a children book (I suppose is not)you can post "El Dios-Caballo encantado", because a "caballo" HAS been gelded. It's not a "padrillo" (male horse).

However, if it is an adult book, you know that "fairy" means homosexual so, a possibility could be: "el caballito castrado y gay/homosexual/etc." (depending on the country you can add a "local" way to say so, humorously!)
