Italian term
deposito ministeriale
Italian to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
Internal procedure for approval of drug by regulatory authorities
Si riferisce a materiali non soggetti al deposito Ministeriale (RCP, articolo scientific pubblicati e con riferimento solo alla patologia...). I am editing another translator's work and he/she has used "notificaiton" for deposito ministeriale. I am not convinced but cannot find it anywhere. Any suggestions please?

Regardless of how they well notifying and depositing are two pretty different things. I notified the ministry that I had prepared the document= informing the ministry that you have written it. Depositing the document with the ministry means taking the document to the ministry and leaving it there.

Comment: "Many thanks. My feeling was that a more literal translation was better, and "notification" idn't sound right, even when spelled correctly."
