PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I UNDERSTAND THIS PASSAGE CORRECTLY:

I put them in parenteses, because what else would you kick with?

Is there a comma missing? I read it "...in relation to 1) postural control, 2) kicking movements, and 3) head control, sucking and muscle tone."

Remove "of" in the above answer... "postural control, kicking movements, etc..." as explained above. I changed my interpretation of the text as I tried to explain my answer.

agree Muriel Vasconcellos : I agree with Edgar about the comma; I would take out all cases of "the"" BUT it's FIVE different criteria that are being measured.
