Thanks for your help. I have since found out after talking to friend in the wine trade that Denomination of Origin is becoming more widely used in England and that the abbreviation D.O. is also understood.

Personally, I prefer "source name" to "name of origin". Besides, I don´t know if you are talking about "country of origin" which has to do with the place where the product comes from.
