I'm struggling the wording of this phrse, can anyone help?:

A titre subsidiaire, les appelantes soutiennent, ce qu'autorise ce texte dès lors que la nullité qu'il édicte est inspirée par un souci de protection, que XXXXXXX savait que YYYYYY était au nombre des acquéreurs sous le couvert de la SCI ZZZZZZ.
