German term

Weißpreis

German to English Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping

I am clueless: a white price, a retail price?? Any help much appreciated.

TIA Stephen

Stephen Sadie (asker) Apr 14, 2007:
Sorry everyone, must close without grading - my client used this phrase for "retail price"
Stephen Sadie (asker) Apr 4, 2007:
Sorry I must provid more information: this has to do with MDE devices and inventories for a large "Parfümerie" chain. I am still @ a loss!
Kim Metzger Apr 4, 2007:
Could it have anything to do with linen? Bedsheets, etc.?

In general this might be the "price without special options".

no price / without price quotation

Hi there! I've never heard of this term and I doubt that it's proper German, but my guess would be: Items without a price at all

Items without price quotation - without indication of the price

Just leave the "Weiß-" behind. It's at a price of --.-- EUR (much white :p)

In this case -yellow-.

Don't have any other clue.

List price / Inventory price

These might be items that are either brand new or very old and therefore don't have a retail price yet/any longer. It might also pertain to items that are not for sale as such, i.e. decorative stuff or samplers etc. Weisspreis seems to indicate a dummy value = 0.00.
May be you can avoid the word as such and just provide the context...
