Italian term

RIV

Italian to English Medical Medical (general) Medication Orders
This abbreviation appears in the description of a medication prescribed for a patient being discharged from hospital after coronary angiography and stent implantation:

Principio Attivo: METFORMINA CLORIDRATO ... Nome Farmaco: GLUCOPHAGE 30CPR *RIV* 500 mg.

I imagine it's something about the form or preparation of the drug, but I don't find anything that would fit for this. Another medication on this list says "DIV" which I've found is "divided", but I can't think of what RIV might be if it is not a typo.

What does this abbreviation stand for, and how do we say it in English?

Thank you, thank you....
