Spanish term or phrase: actualización de las filiales
Hello,

In a CV, one of the main achievements was "actualización de las filiales". Can you "update" a company? I see a lot of hits on Google but they do not seem exactly relevant in this context. I thought of "modernisation" but the client says it isn't that, it's really just ensuring they were "puestas al día"

Any suggestions or is "updating" really the best option?

Explanation:
An option. I think that "actualización"/updating usually implies the updating of information.

updating XXX of the affiliated companies

Explanation:
Please check the CV and see what profession the person has.
If finance or accounting it might mean (for example) updating the accounting systems, finantial records, etc. Other professions: updating manufacturing and maintenance manuals, IT systems, safety and environmental standards, personnel administration records, etc.
I believe the updating should be qualified.
Hope it helps.
