Albal is a commercial name. It manufactures both plastic wrap and foil paper, but the foil paper came first, so we use the trade mark to mean the "foil paper" or "aluminium paper".

No, no, Albal is a brand of microwave-resistant cellophane
that also serves for freezing, limited vacuum-packing, etc. Comes in rolls. I just bought one. (Made in Spain)
