English term

vähentymättömät hyvät

English to Finnish Art/Literary Philosophy
Philosophical term meaning that a person can accumulate "goods", like a safe life, long lifetime expectancy, freedom from toil and misery, sort of like putting money on a bank account. Unfortunately I don't know which line of thought this term comes from, and would be thankful for that information, too.

I have studied theoretical philosophy for four years, so I am interested in this as well. So I investigated this a bit further and found out that ALAN GEWIRTH has also written about the different kinds of good in his book Freedom and Reason, mentioning nonreduceable good.
