Turret Assembly/Container Handling Parts
The containers are accepted from the infeed conveyor onto the turret starwheel (item 4).
The turret starwheel consists of 24 pockets which have been manufactured to accurately guide the containers as they index through the various processes.
Different change part sets are supplied for the different container sizes, and they are quick and easy to change over without the use of tools.
As each set consists of a few components, they are colour coded to aid identification.
To align the capping head:
Remove the turret change part component (item 4).
Place the alignment cap into the cap transfer unit.
Place the alignment container into the turret capper position clamp.
