Infact the lighting for both the initial phase of works and this current phase were designed as one project to ensure a single cohesive and integrated lighting solution. The design was carried out first and foremost to produce a considered and balanced ‘intent’, carefully evolved with the architects and interior designers. That is not to belittle the ‘numbers’ for quantity of light, but the predictive science aspect followed ‘my leader’ of the artistic intent – the end result being very high quality lit spaces and surfaces that also assist the visitor in the journeys into and about the galleries without any visual strain.

(As I recall it, the "leader" would start out easy, just walking in a zig-zag pattern or some such, and then would do increasingly difficult steps/stunts that the others all had to try to copy, and people would drop out as they couldn't keep up.)

BTW, "infact" should be written as two words, "in fact". I only mention this because "infatti" is so similar...
