When I first entered the world of translation works, I thought that this would be an easy job. To be honest... No, it isn't. As the time flies by, I am certain that the works of translating literary works, documents and stuffs needs us to always be motivated, aiming for perfection and to invoke the need to be well-disciplined in our mind and soul. That was how I fell in love with the world of translation.

And here I am, a certified translator for the language of Malay - English, and vice versa. I have been working with big names such as the Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka (Malaysian Department of Malay Language and Linguistic Researches), as well as the Arkib Negara (Malaysian Royal Archive) and the Malaysian Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society. All these experiences taught me one main thing, the love of languages as an element that will bring us together, closer.

...legal translations?
I have experiences in translating various legal documents. And I understand legal jurisdictions, statutes, acts as well as subsidiary laws in Malaysia and the Commonwealth nations. Being precise and fully-adhered to the requirements as needed by the law is my specialty.

...general texts, science and technology, social science texts?
To me, knowledge is power. The more you know, the better you will perform in your work. Which is why, all these texts encourage me to learn more and more about the matters involved. And I will apply all of the knowledge into translating the works and documents to be precise.

...game translations?
Well, I was being honest when I said that I am a gamer. So, all these knowledge about the game's journey and elements will help me a lot in translating a game's narrations, codes included, as well as stories, plotlines and conversations.

...historical documents, journals, manuscripts etc?
I am an active researcher in history, especially the history of South East Asia and Malaysia. I also tend to visit the historical sites, as well as writing articles for blogs, books and journals. All these knowledge helps me a lot in translating historical documents, manuscripts and books.
