fyrir vanda vegna truflana.

Network hardware
Any radio equipment that is used must carry a CE-label from the manufacturer confirming the hardware complies with R&TTE Guidelines (1999/5/EC).
The undertaking shall ensure that the equipment used does not cause interference to other legal e-communication equipment.
The undertaking undertakes to inform the PTA of any interference it is aware of, which their network is either causing or being subject to.
The PTA may request modifications to the equipment in order to solve interference problems. The undertaking shall abide by the PTA’s instructions, at its own expense, to rectify any interference problems caused by the undertaking ’s hardware.
The PTA may seal off any hardware which causes harmful interference, or prohibit its use, cf. article 64 of the Electronic Communications Act n. 81/2003.
If the interference is substantial and harmful and no steps are taken to rectify it, the PTA may decide to revoke the rights to use frequencies .
The undertaking shall adopt measures to protect the public by keeping electromagnetic radiation emitted by the access network to a minimum. Every effort should be made to place communication equipment in locations where such radiation will effect the public the least.
The undertaking shall observe the guidelines and regulations of the authorities with regard to electromagnetic radiation, and must comply to the relevant standards.
If it is discovered that the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the communication facilities are above accepted limits, laid down in the relevant regulations or standards, the undertaking must immediately take rectifying action or alternatively close the communication facilities down.
If the combined level of electromagnetic radiation, emitted by communication facilities in close proximity to each other, exceeds limits, even though no individual piece of hardware exceeds the limit, the undertaking must make the appropriate modifications to the hardware or stop using it.
